Sales Engineer. Remote, Northern England
- Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales – Motors, Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical.
- Remote based sales role looking after a technical / engineering customer base across a Northern England territory.
- You will need a technical background (Electronics / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) – You will also require a good understanding of Motors or Automation systems.This is a solution based, consultative selling approach, so knowing the technical detail will be essential.

This Sales Engineer job will suit:
- Qualifications or trained within Electrical Engineering / Electro-mechanical / Electronics / Mechanical and have an understanding for general electrical principles.
- You will need to have sold Motors or have a good technical understanding of how motors work and how they fit into a wider application (Machinery).
- Strong Sales & Commercial experience.Accustomed to dealing with customers in a consultative manner, understanding a customers problem and making suggestions in order to provide the correct solution.
- You could be from a service, applications, proposals, quotes, estimating, sales or engineering background.
- Above all else the right attitude and passionate about doing a good job.

The Sales Engineer Job will involve:
- Visiting customers in a given territory providing technical solutions.Customers in a wide range of different sectors, so you are not pigeon holed into one sector!There is an incredible amount of diversity which keeps the role interesting.
- Remote based role, working from home with travel around the sales territory.
- Solution based selling and building relationships with customers is key, elements of generating new clients as well as maintaining existing through effective Account Management.
- This is NOT a traditional sales, cold calling, door knocking type of approach, it is more strategic and considered focused on relationships.You will be dealing with Engineers.

This job is home based and will cover a territory based in the North.You could be based in Sheffield, Nottingham, Doncaster, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Stoke on Trent or any location that enables good travel links to the North of England.
