What you'll be doing
- Using a variety of structured sales techniques to cold contact prospective customers and book sales meetings for the team of Enterprise Account Executives.
- Responding to inbound sales enquiries, qualifying them to assess relevance, and converting realistic prospects into sales meetings for the team of Enterprise Account Executives.
- Targeting Operations leaders in enterprise level companies across one or more of our key markets: Medical (NHS, private hospitals, care homes, laboratories & research); Facilities Management (typically service outsourcing companies especially in the mass catering sector); Food Retail (supermarkets, convenience retail); Hospitality & Catering (food-to-go, pub & restaurant chains, hotel & leisure chains).
- Achieving stretching KPIs around call volumes, social media engagement, customer contacts, meetings booked & quality of leads generated.
What we're looking for
- Whilst a University graduate or graduate calibre individual is preferred, no specific academic qualifications are required for this position.
- Any experience as an SDR within the SaaS or IoT sectors would be useful, but isn’t essential.
- Any other structured sales experience, particularly in a business-to-business sector, would be good.
- Experience of being professionally trained in sales would also be helpful. MEDDIC would be amazing.
- If you’ve been in sales, able to evidence sustained achievement of sales targets.
- BUT we are also open to receiving applications from people without any sales experience, who have all the right personal qualities, and are looking for a breakthrough into their first sales role.
- Whatever your background, you’ll be able to demonstrate some good achievements within your work or personal life that showcase that you have the personal qualities we are looking for.
