POSITION SUMMARY:
At Aprimo, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in Target Accounts and help grow pipeline for the Sales team and the organization. Additionally, the SDR will work with Demand Generation to assist Sales Executives (SE) to drive new business revenue. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will be primarily focused around researching Target Accounts and performing outreach with multi-channel communications: emails, calls, and social media.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Work with Demand Generation to identify target prospects/stakeholders to engage with Marketing, promoting, and bringing brand awareness to prospects by persistent outreach through all communication avenues
- Consistent high-quality and detailed research at the Account, Department and Persona levels to ensure that the outreach is accurate, organized, personalized and customized
- Generating interest and engaging with prospects that will lead to scheduling initial meetings for the Sales team
- Work with prospects to identify business challenges through structured discovery conversations
- Gathering and documenting in-depth qualification information that will enable the Sales team to be well prepared for their first meeting with the prospect
- Assist in qualifying RFIs/RFPs, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources within Aprimo with your aligned SE
- Meet or exceed daily outreach metrics of 40 calls and 45 emails
- Maintaining data hygiene, documenting progress, and logging all activities in Salesforce
- Develop and maintain market knowledge and competitor positioning to be a credible advisor in this space
- Identify and attend relevant industry events that support pipeline creation
- Working with Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams on Customer Expansion accounts
- Help as needed on special projects and events
- Additional responsibilities and duties as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
- Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information, including conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
- Must possess the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels
- Must be able to repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (i.e., repeated typing, etc.)
- The worker is required to have close visual awareness to perform an activity and to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned, such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
