Full Time or Part Time Sales Assistant - Hemswell Antique Centres
If you’re a fun, friendly and self-motivated individual with experience of delivering excellent customer service, we might have just the role for you!
The successful candidate will work across four market-leading buildings at Europe’s largest and most successful antiques centre, supporting both customers and dealers in helping every individual item find its perfect home, so an ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of others is essential, as is confidence in handling sales of all sizes. Although we’ve been around for over 35 years, our business is growing strongly and we have an exciting future ahead of us.
Tens of thousands of antiques from a huge range of time-periods in stock at any one time, available both physically and through our dedicated website, bring a wide variety of people through our doors and every day is different here.
We don’t expect anyone to be an expert at the start of their career with Hemswell Antique Centres, but if you have an interest in antiques or a passion for a particular period of history this might give you a head-start. If not, don’t worry, as full training will be given.
Key Responsibilities – Customer Service; Cash Handling; Telephone & Web Enquiries; Cleaning; Health and Safety.
The role is a permanent part-time one, including alternate weekends, with uniform provided and a competitive hourly rate at £10.90 as we are now accredited members of the Living Wage Foundation.
