We currently offer professional services and an online marketplace for local vendors of all kinds across Canada. We are on a mission to empower amazing local, independent producers to make their passions & creations more accessible.
What is the main goal for the project?
- Increase B2B brand awareness
- Enlarge the number of vendors on the platform
Responsibilities:
To accomplish this, we expect that you will:
- Vendor recruitment & on-boarding support
- Generating leads by cold calling messaging, texting and emailing
- Analyzing and improving business development and recruitment process (ie. social media, website)
- Analyzing sales and communications strategies and providing recommendations
- Creating recruitment-oriented multimedia marketing materials (website content, videos, flyers, posters, posts)
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Highly efficient with prospect research
- Professional copywriting skill is considered as an asset
- Proven prospecting skill like cold calling is considered as an asset
- Preference will be shown for those that have prior sales experience
What support will you receive in completing the project?
You will work closely with the Business Development lead who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to your tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
Job Type: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 2 months
Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
