CCC is currently looking for a Sales Development Representative (BDR/SDR/Inside Sales Experience). The Sales Development Representative is a role that supports our corporate clients working with both our current accounts and identifying new sales opportunities in the SMB market. It is a great opportunity to learn software sales, licensing sales and the full sales cycle. Working directly with our European Director of Sales and our worldwide sales team you will learn best practices, personas, the market, and various approaches to corporate and academic markets.
This position requires a blend of research abilities, communication skills (we need you to speak French and Italian fluently), agility of thought- you need to be able to solution with customers to make the see how our products can remove their obstacles. You are persuasive and authentic. This position has competitive salary and benefits and generous commission earnings
What you will be doing:
- Research constantly uncovering names, titles, and contract information for decision makes and influencers. Identify clones and competitors for our best customers.
- Identify companies across target verticals that are the best match for our products and services.
- Update and input information into Salesforce.com and other software with accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor alerts across target vertical industry sites.
- Develop and manage activities to improve customer retention and up sell efforts.
- Communicate outwardly to internal and external customers.
- Attend training and department meetings, conferences, and events as well as customer meetings as needed.
What you skills/experience you need to have:
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), ability to speak French and Italian fluently.
- Strong listening skills that lead you to identify opportunities to offer solutions to your customer based on their needs.
- Self-motivated and well-organized with the ability to deliver on-time, with ability to prioritize workload and keep up with opportunities.
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus, strong experience with Microsoft Office and a general computer savvy attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Negotiating skills, the ability to close a sale.
- Interest in or knowledge of legal issues including, contracts, agreements and copyright is preferred.
- High level of energy and enthusiasm is a must.
