Location - Kent on a hybrid basis (1-2 days a week in the office) with travel to London when needed

As a Sales Development Representative you will identify new business opportunities to prospect. This is an essential role within a business where you will be able to make a difference and be apart of some very exciting growth plans. You will use different methods to outreach including calls, emails, Linkedin and making use of all the tools provided to you. This is a hybrid role where you get the opportunity to see a lead through to close, working closely with the AEs to help close the deal.
Duties include:
- Prospecting target companies and accounts
- Cold contacting (calls, emails, LinkedIn) contacts from prospective companies and identifying their needs/requirements
- Working towards monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI’s
- Understanding of converting outreach/prospecting, into meetings, meetings into Demo’s & Demo’s into opportunities & GTM
- Hosting & introducing meetings between the company and external companies & senior external stakeholders
- Objection handling - understanding prospects objections, and being able to identify how to turn no’s into yes’s (respectfully)
- An understanding of sales cycles, and how to progress them to an effective outcome for the company & external stakeholders/companies.
Skills/characteristics required
- Inquisitive nature, ability to identify business opportunities
- Strong communication skills via video, online meeting, phone manner, presentation, written & verbal communication
- Self-motivated and ability to understand, work towards and effect targets individually and in a team environment
- Able to process, understand and use information efficiently - spreadsheet, annual reports, financial reports
- Previous use of CRM preferable, but not essential (Reapit, Salesforce, Monday etc)
- Self-starter able to begin work without being prompted, and self - manage express opinion

Experience:
- B2B sales experience within a similar role: 1 year (preferred)
