We specialise in weddings in Denmark and Gibraltar and are looking to expand our team with another documents specialist wedding planner professional. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service to our couples before, during and after the wedding process.
As the largest wedding Agency in Denmark we work with Foreign, International, same sex, mixed religion couples who for a variety of reasons struggle to marry in the country they are living, or need to marry fast.
We are looking for a team member who can quickly assess the documents needed based upon Citizenship, Residency, VISA requirements, and Marital status to direct them to the best country to marry in. It will then be that individuals responsibility to manage the scans of the documents being emailed in, put the file together, and submit the application with the Danish, Gibraltar or Greek Government, obtain the license, and book the registrar. You will be working closely with couples, government offices, registrars, clerks, town halls, suppliers such as hair, make up, photographers. Some weddings are 2 weeks from start of the document gathering to wedding, some are 4 months from the start of the process. And it is expected that you would be looking after roughly 30-40 couples per month. So it is extremely important that there are strong skills in organisation, prioritising, problem solving, multi tasking, and keeping records and notes.
There is an element of sales as we need to move the couples through the process as quickly as possible from initial enquiry to placing the order
You will be on hand to answer any questions about where to be when, what documents to present, introducing them to our known suppliers (if they want), checking before the wedding the couple have all they need and wishing them a happy wedding day, following up after the wedding, after for reviews, photos and if applicable writing up a nice little brief couples story for the website.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer inquiries and requests, manage customer relations.
- Presenting positive image of company and ensuring they choose and purchase our service over competitors.
- Documents lists given, gathering of file and submission of application
- Work with Government offices is any issues on file, obtain licenses
- Book ceremony in relevant location and country, ensure they have witnesses and know what documents to present. You will work closely with our concierge service for the after sales.
- Use good judgement when dealing with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, with excellent customer service, mindful of what a big day and event it is, and show empathy, consideration, and go over and above in customer service
- Determine appropriate action to resolve customer issues.
The role is full time 5 days a week (Monday - Friday), slightly flexible on timings but either 8am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5.30pm UK time, as you will be working essentially on EU hours with international couples.
There will be possibility on occasion of flexi time with a few hours at the weekend if and when both parties agree.
It is expected that the candidate have excellent customer service skills, highly organised and be able to multi task and prioritise, proven top sales skills, be a driven individual, energetic, business writing skills, experience in a business and professional environment, and be able to work remotely under own motivation.
Any experience with Government offices, documents, sales will be highly sought after.
