Sales Consultant - (FT, PT, Job Share)
Here's what you'll be doing
Salary - £31,113 - £34,570 + great benefits and uncapped commission
Location – Westwood/remote with UK travel
Right now, we’re looking for x4 Sales Consultants to join our team. For this role, you will be responsible for assessing properties via video call and offering the correct solution to the customer, securing a sale for the business in a compliant, safe manner. This role offers a great opportunity to work with various areas of the business including operations and compliance as well as external stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for a role in which to grow their experience and build their profile in a sales arena. The role is key in delivering the companies ATP sales targets. This position will be working predominantly in our Solar PV and Battery Sales team with the opportunity of being upskilled in ASHP Sales calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting remote and potentially site technical surveys to assess suitability for solar PV and battery storage systems on domestic properties.
- Advise customers on the best solution to match their lifestyle and their home, using consultative selling techniques.
- Measure the roof using Easy PV software, check roof condition, tile type, scaffolding and Electrical requirements for suitability for the measures selected.
- Assess the property for shading issues using 3D software, advise customers on locations of battery, Inverter, and potential cable runs. Check the Annual consumption usage with the customer.
- Produce accurate quotes for customers and advise of next steps.
- Follow up with customers and chase outstanding quotes to improve conversions.
- Work with the technical team on any queries post survey/sale.
- Work within the framework of FCA compliance and the Consumer Duty.
- Use call recording software when discussing finance with the customer.
- Undertake in a timely manner all company training requirements using the E.ON learning.
What we need from you
Essential skill requirements
- Experience in Consumer facing roles.
- An appreciation of Consultative selling techniques
- Knowledge of IT systems and their interaction with the Assessment process.
- Fully competent in completing technical surveys on residential dwellings, for Solar and other related renewable technologies.
- Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points
- Ability to technically assess properties, including construction type, condition etc
- Experience in using CRM systems, Excel, and other related software applications.
Desirable skill requirements
- Customer focused.
- Knowledge of air source heat pumps
- Previous experience within an MCS organisation
- Knowledge or experience of introducing customers to finance via 3rd party lenders
