As a key member of the Sales Team, you will also work with colleagues across the business to develop and share best practices.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver plan to grow B2B taxi sales through our Taxi Online booking tool.
- Attain revenue targets.
- Sign-up new account holders to FTS' Taxi Online service.
- Maintain and build the relationships with significant customers to safeguard FTS from losing any business.
- Be the taxi product champion for existing coach product customers, i.e. offering taxi services for conference and events activity when FTS is dealing with the larger group movements of delegates already / language schools who need taxis for mature students travelling alone, etc.
- Approach recognised large users of taxi services and position Taxi Online as a preferred supplier.
- Work with the UK train operating companies to promote Taxi Online as a booking portal for rail clients seeking to make ‘final mile' journeys from their arrival railway stations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the client base and sales development pipeline, ensuring records are accurate on the CRM system.
- Use company CRM system to record all customer contact and ensure that business leads are carried forward to a conclusion.
- Work with trade associations and organisations to promote FTS' Taxi Online service to their memberships, for example the IoD, Chambers of Commerce, etc.
- Attend trade events to promote sales.
- Work with the taxi supplier management team to match sales effort to UK locations where we have excellent cab company coverage and flag areas where coverage is poor.
- Produce MI and reporting on a monthly basis.
- Look for opportunities for the Taxi Online API link to be integrated with other travel and logistics websites
