We are recruiting a Sales Consultant to work from our show site at Trentham Gardens near Stoke on Trent.
As a member of the show site sales team, you will inspire the customer and help them design and bring to life their vision of the ultimate garden building, striving to exceed their expectation for quality and service. Based at our newest show site in Brampton you will develop and maintain good working relationships with the garden centre team and ensure high standards of presentation are delivered across the site. As our show sites operate remotely from head office it is essential that key relationships are developed and maintained with staff across the business to ensure a professional service is delivered for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers visiting the site promoting our products and advising in the selection of the best garden building for their needs
- Produce accurate quotations in line with customer requirements and present terms of agreement and close sales
- Promote the business ensuring all sales opportunities are followed up
- Conduct visits at the customers property to measure and qualify the suitability of products
- Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries from new and existing customers
- Ensure all sales are recorded and order information entered on to the company CRM system
- Review your own sales performance, aiming to exceed targets
Required Skills:
- Experience of delivering a face-to-face consultative sales approach
- Excellent customer service
- Focused on maintaining a strong sales pipeline
- Able to discover and help overcome objections and close sales
- Experience using a CRM system would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given

Usual working pattern is 40hrs a week on a 2 week rota including every other weekend
Being fully mobile and having your own vehicle is essential for this role as you may be required to conduct customer visits.
As this role involves working with the public a DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment.
Salary: £28,250 - £40,000 OTE
