It's an exciting time at AXA Health, with significant investment planned to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. As part of this, we're looking for a talented individual to join our Sales team on a permanent basis.

As a Sales Consultant, you're someone who is self-motivated, has a resilient nature, and takes a positive approach. In this role, you'll fully qualify each business opportunity with new and supporting brokers to the market in a professional and complaint manner, by asking a relevant set of questions and understanding the customers business requirements.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as part-time or condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  • Engaging with New and Supporting Brokers to the market to communicate AXA's services and capability to achieve their goals.
  • Lead generation advancement and conversion driven through prospecting activity within the team.
  • Identify strong potential prospects using your own initiative and creativity to generate productivity and new sales leads.
  • Taking a customer focussed approach to the sales journey, in order to deliver exceptional service in relation to call handling.
  • Managing the sales process to ensure the achievement of the New Business Target, emphasising the delivery of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Proactively maintain well-organized, accurate and up to date sales information.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of CRM systems.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience of Outbound Lead Generations and CRM competent.
  • Experience working to targets and the ability to demonstrate a goal focused approach.
  • Experience working with business process and protocols.
  • A strong understanding of all Social Media platforms, in particular Linked In and Twitter.
  • The ability to take a pro-active approach to managing this key relationship plus the ability to take advantage of every opportunity.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels and with internal and external customers.
  • Well organised and manage own time effectively and to be able to work under pressure.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
