Job description
You will work as part of a team supporting strategic sales initiatives, market insights and management information reporting in our Consulting business, working alongside senior management, including Partners and Directors on a daily basis. As we strive to help our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution, you’ll play an integral role supporting staff as required for an outstanding variety of work and making contributions to the team on a daily basis.
This 12 month fixed-term contract within Consulting, will give you first-hand experience of the exciting world of winning work; focused on sales, proposals and business development. You will get to see how the business works and how it is commercially successful - becoming an expert in sales activation.
Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to provide support in these key areas:
Sales campaigns
Account development
Sales lead tracking
CRM reporting
Clients & Markets insights and reporting
Ongoing sales support including bids and proposals
Required skills and competencies
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to draw out insights and communicate effectively
Attention to detail and quality at all times
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Ability to balance multiple engagements
Any sales support experience in a business environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
A typical day -
This is a varied role, so no two days are exactly the same, however you will find yourself working on the following types of activities:
Use CRM system to track and report on sales pipeline, encouraging opportunity owners to follow salesforce best practice
Support and coordinate key clients & markets strategy refresh initiatives
Support the sales activation of key marketing campaigns at a sub-sector level
Support with the communication of thought leadership to business stakeholders and clients
Research client and competitor information to inform campaigns
Coordinate market insights initiatives and provide supportive narrative and insight based on data
Organise and hold regular status update meetings and produce Clients & Markets reports.
Adhoc support to pursuits, bids and proposals
