The Role
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated Client Sales Associate to enable the delivery of unparalleled service to our valued clients in our Canary Wharf boutique. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable operating in a luxury retail setting, always putting the needs of our clients at the heart of their decision making. With a comprehensive induction and training, you will be comfortable in customising frames to your unique client needs, alongside taking measurements and understanding the high standard of optical excellence we provide to our valued-clients.
Reporting to your the store manager, your dedication and hard work will be rewarded through our industry leading commission schemes. Whilst you will spend most of your time within your home store, you will be expected to potentially cover at any of our zone one and two optical boutiques, in Central London.
A Client Sales Associate at Tom Davies Bespoke Opticians is so much more than your average retail job. You’ll require a flair for design, an eye for detail that’s second to none, a passion for eyewear and optics and in doing so, you will be rewarded with excellent career progression prospects, and not just within retail, but with our wider global business.
The Responsibilities
Whilst the role is varied, with no two days ever being the same, your core role responsibilities will be:
- Listening to clients wants and needs, providing clear advice and expert product recommendations to deliver a bespoke service unavailable from others in our field
- Have and maintain excellent, up to date product knowledge – particularly of key frames that Tom has designed for Hollywood & the movies
- Understand and anticipate each client's needs and delight them with the service provided – always aiming to exceed their expectations
- Bespoke frames and lenses to clients exacting specifications – always triple checking the prescription with your optometrist or dispensing optician
- Ensure all store systems and operational procedures are followed accurately and as instructed by a member of your management team or their designate
- Carry out duties in connection with store opening and store closing
- Ensure the store and frames are impeccably presented, at all times
- Ensure merchandising is in line with our VM standards and the commercial objectives of the store
- Participate in audits, counts, deliveries and stock control procedures as required
- Observe till procedures and minimise stock/trading losses
- Take measurements and support clients with collections, ensuring a perfect fit, feel and function
The Requirements
- Luxury industry experience – essential
- Optical knowledge and experience – a plus, industry experience is preferred
- Experience of one-to-one customer service and/or sales environments
- Willing and pro-active, with a 'can-do' approach
- Excellent communication skills – articulate and personable
- Impeccable personal presentation, excellent manners and diplomacy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £23,000.00 per year
