Position for a full-time sales assistant has have become available within our busy, family run garden centreIt requires a friendly, knowledgeable and energetic person to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience. Someone to greet our customers as they walk in, provide solutions and answers to their questions, and make sure they walk out with everything they need. Somebody with a passion for sales that thrives in a fast paced environment.The duties will include:Working within all departments within our busy garden centre.Greet all our customers in an articulate, approachable and friendly manor to maintain our high standards of customer care.Communicate your knowledge clearly to customers with varying levels of experience.Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.Complete sales correctly and efficiently ensuring customers leave the store fully satisfied.Be self-motivated, positive and organized.Be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic to learn.Person specificationExperience working within a garden centre environment is advantageous but not essential.Commitment to high standards of customer service.Ability to work on own initiative and be self-driven.The hours are 40 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays.
