We have a variety of exciting Sales Assistant roles based at our Cardiff store across various functions in our Market Hall. We are offering permanent contracts working 20 hours a week.

Scheduled closing date: 14 May 2023.
Scheduled assessment centre date: 17 May 2023 (16:30 - 18:30).
Scheduled induction date: 04 June 2023.

WHO YOU ARE
You are solution-orientated, curious about life at home and about co-creating the 'wonderful everyday' with our customers. You are confident in approaching customers, treating them in a polite and friendly manner. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a motivated mindset, and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have a knowledge of the IKEA Concept, our values, and our products, and if you don't just yet, you have an eagerness to learn more. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

• You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings
• You are always passionate about our product range and home furnishings, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
• You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop.
• You will ideally be competent with IT to use planning tools and relevant programmes to support selling to the customer.
