Job description
Gelato Line Limited are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Sales Administrator, to join our fantastic Sales Team.
We area young and fast expanding company working in the Ice Cream/Gelato industry. We supply ingredients and services to businesses from ice cream industries and gelateria’s to coffee shops, and ice cream farms, throughout the UK and Ireland.
We are looking for a friendly and confident communicator to support the sales team who is passionate about sales and has an aptitude for selling along with providing great customer service.
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Sales Administrator and Sales Director.
Our ideal Person:
- Strong, confident personality, with excellent customer service and operational skills
- Knowledge of Sage or other ERP software
- Understanding of logistics framework
- Ability to multitask, work to deadlines and have strong administration, time management and coordination skills.
- Passionate about sales and an aptitude for selling and presenting
- Ability to create, compose and edit written materials
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Keen to learn products
The successful candidate will be responsible for all administrative activities.
Your main duties will be:
- Processing orders via SAGE accounting software
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails
- Generate quotations for clients using accurate detail
- Manage efficient communication with clients thought the sales life cycle
- Prepare and communicate client’s statements and payment requests
- Maintain accurate stock levels and checks
- Document, file and archive office and related business expenditures
- Promote products to existing clients
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities produced by the office or Sales Representatives/Managers
- Manage client account services through quality checks and other follow-up calls
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Plan communication of new products, services, and special developments in accordance with the Sales Director
- Co-ordinate shipping and delivery schedules
Also note:
- Work may require occasional travel/overnight stay for training or exhibitions in UK and Italy. Advanced notice will be provided
- Occasional weekend and/or evening work. Advanced notice would be provided, and this is only for specific events etc
Salary is dependent upon experience. Adeguate training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Full-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £20,900.00-£24,900.00 per year
PLEASE NOTE: a Succesfull Candidates with no previous experience would expect to start on £20,900.00 pa
