About Camelot the Company:
Camelot Chester is part of a well established jewellery brand with a strong presence internationally and in the UK. We are proud to announce the opening of our latest store in the heart of Chester town centre.
Camelot senior staff are experts in the design and creation of premium bespoke jewellery, specialising in diamonds and gemstones for engagements, weddings, and eternity rings, alongside other precious stones and treasured jewellery items.
The Role:
We are looking for a motivated sales and customer service individual for our newly opened Chester Store. The successful candidate will interact with people from all walks of life on a continuous basis and will present a welcoming and cheerful front to all visitors at all times. Your acute observation and listening skills will assist you in guiding potential buyers towards products best suited for their needs. Your patience and understanding of the customers desires will embrace and relax them, allowing a true and honest relationship to evolve. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of stones that will be unrivalled, and you will be an expert in proposing and selling high-end and exceptional pieces to the Camelot clientele.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must:
- Be ambitious and highly organised
- Be able to work to company guidelines
- Maintain an immaculate appearance & proper etiquette
- Have excellent time keeping, scheduling and time management skills
- Maintain an exceptional standard of workmanship
- Have a high degree of customer awareness
- A thorough understanding of the luxury retail market
- Experience gained through working with exceptional jewellery pieces
- Fluent in English (reading and writing)
- Ability to converse in additional languages is an asset
- Solid working foundation in basic math. (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages as a minimum)
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting One on One sales and product demonstrations
- Up-sell products
- Maximise sales opportunities
- Work alongside management to maximise profits
- Exceed clients requirements and set an amazing standard of customer service
- General administrative duties
- Other tasks as requested
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Experience within retail management
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with a high-end jewellery business
- Working knowledge of basic computer software packages (excel, word, outlook) necessary.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines without dropping standards
- A “whatever it takes” / “can do” attitude at all times
Full Time: Permanent:
Hours: Mon-Sun 9.00-5.00, 5 Days per week, with days off subject to change based on business requirements.
