About the role
We are looking for Retail Sales Staff for a full time role within our fast-moving company. This role is ideal for people who embrace change, are driven by ambitious company visions and can work in an evolving environment. Must be flexible with days and times.
As a Retail Sales Assistant you will have the opportunity to work across all departments for the Stockroom to deliveries to Home; from bedroom, to lounge, home wares giftware and soft furnishings. You will be involved in all the day-to-day running of departments, including, customer sales, merchandising and stock management. Heavy lifting is included.
Responsibilities
General responsibilities (but not limited to) include:
- Provide excellent customer service (product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs)
- Conduct sales in a friendly, professional and polite manner without being pushy
- Process and manage customer orders through the entire process
- Liaise with the delivery team to ensure a smooth and efficient process on every order
- Build and display new stock
- Ensure all furniture and displays are visually merchandised, clean and tidy
- Build great relationships with our suppliers
- Make recommendations on how to continually improve our customer service offering and departments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
