WHAT’S THE STORY?
We are looking for a both permanent & temporary flexible part time Sales Assistant to join our Leeds store for 10-16 hours a week as we prepare for the festive trading season!
Reporting to the Store Manager, we are looking for a free thinking, passionate individual who will provide a one of a kind, outstanding customer experience and assist with day to day operations of the store in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager & Store Manager.
THE GIG
- Providing exceptional service to deliver a best in class customer experience at all times
- Driven to achieve sales targets
- Handle till transactions seamlessly in line with operating procedures
- Follow all store operating procedures e.g. delivery, clock in/out, stock takes, replenishment etc
- Follow all H&S procedures to maintain a healthy, safe and tidy work environment
- Any other reasonable task as instructed by the store management team
Our stores get busy at this time of year and there are various areas of the store operations where you might help us as a Sales Assistant. Depending on your skills and experience you could be;
- Supporting in the stockroom, helping with deliveries and organising our stock to make it quick, easy and safe for the team to get it to the shop floor.
- Acting as a ‘runner’ making sure the team selling product are getting the products and sizes they need to meet our customers needs.
- Taking on the role of store greeter, making sure the store is not too full, welcoming customers and directing them to the right product or team member.
- Processing transactions on the till making sure the last interaction you have with our customers is a positively memorable one for them.
- Sharing your passion for Docs and selling our iconic product to our customers!
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
To be our Sales Assistant you will also possess these qualities:
- Proven experience in a Retail store is essential
- Experience with a fashion/footwear/lifestyle brand would be a bonus!
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service and have the ability to build connections
- An enthusiasm for Docs and confidence to share this with our customers.
- Sales oriented – target driven and able to assist the team with achieving store goals and
- Demonstrate a good understanding of leading a team and driving sales
- Professional, but also authentic and fearless!
- Flexibility in availability is essential – Shifts may vary week to week so we will need flexibility to cover different days/times
