Job description
Working closely with the Head of International and local Marketing, Commercial and Trading teams, as well as all UK-based teams, you will focus on the key drivers of the business and provide analysis and guidance to the small local teams based in these different countries. Every country has its own unique context, but all are seeking rapid growth. You will need to understand local markets, competitors, and customer behaviour, and the best ways to drive conversions, and grow customer engagement and satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work with local teams to implement identified actions, measure results, and reflect on best practices.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
· Review local websites, product offering, pricing, and merchandising actions to drive insights.
· Analyse sales and profitability performance to identify areas of improvement, and action opportunities to drive growth with particular focus on:
o Product and service offering
o Competitive Pricing Strategy, Planning and Testing
o Commercial Planning
o Product Ranging and Merchandising
· Work closely with local teams in different countries to provide business and commercial guidance and support through record tracking, ad-hoc analysis, implementation, and forecasting.
· Create and maintain regular reports to be shared with different stakeholders including the management.
· Document expertise by creating how-to guides and training sessions.
· Define solutions and/or tools to address identified opportunities and manage related projects.
· Align with the UK Trading and Commercial Teams to get benchmark on best practices and build a subsequent approach adapted to local market contexts.
Person Specification:
· Experience of working into retail and preferably eCommerce KPIs & measuring ROI.
· Proficient in handling data and in particular Excel.
· Strong experience in translating data insights into clear actions.
· Astute leader with excellent communication skills and success in motivating teams toward competitiveness and sales performance excellence.
· Strong written and verbal communication in English and ideally another language.
· Self-motivated and results-orientated, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering a high quality of service/output.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Good organisation, project management and time management.
· Ability to work with remote teams with different cultural backgrounds and in a fast-paced environment.
