- Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel
- To raise the profile of the hotel through such events by maintaining agreed standards of product delivery and constantly exceeding customer expectations
- To effectively drive events business to ensure KPI’s set out in the Hotel Business plan are achieved
- Actively seek sponsorship and advertising sales to assist with funding events
- To support the GM in developing and delivering the Business Plan for the Hotel in line with the strategy for Quy Mill Hotel & Spa
- Communicating, developing and maintaining client relationships
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure best price and or contra deals to increase event profitability
- To attend client sales meetings as and when required
- Overseeing website content ensuring all marketing is up to date and brand standards adhered to
- To adopt a consultative and participative style of leadership which encompasses Quy Mill Hotel & Spa values and inspires employees to make a positive contribution to the business
- To be involved in agreed activities within the local community aimed at enhancing our competitive advantage and increasing Hotel profitability through local networking
- Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action
- Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales
- Plans to meet those goals.
- Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
- Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels
- Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
- To proactively analyse and exploit commercial and financial opportunities for the Hotel in terms of costs, controls, productivity levels and product development in order to maximise profits
- React with urgency to any forecasted sales and profit shortfalls to budget. Recommend and assist in the implementation of activity to stimulate short-term sales revenue and support with aggressive cost controls to protect budgeted profit targets
- To comply with, implement and maintain all statutory and legal requirements demonstrating integrity at all times
- To be an ambassador for the delivery and ethos of any Central Initiatives.
- To ensure that policies, procedure and reporting systems are adhered to
- To create a customer responsive culture where exceptional customer service prevails, and absolute standards are adhered to
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
