About you
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, committed and proactive individual who is willing to go the extra mile in the role of Sales & Marketing Advisor in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the Culture, Leisure and Tourism service.
The successful candidate will have had previous experience in sales /marketing, with an attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, the ability to work to deadlines and excellent communication skills.
About the role
With a significant focus on leisure memberships, the main responsibilities of the post include;
To help grow and maintain the membership sales income across all Exeter Leisure facilities.
To generate new business across the service, which includes the Council’s advertising/media portfolio and Visit Exeter memberships.
To ensure a warm friendly & professional atmosphere and high standard of customer care at all times in order to generate customer loyalty.
To conduct sales tours of the leisure facilities and give guidance to prospective customers on the type of membership category best suited to their needs.
To be responsible for the administration of membership information and to ensure that it is processed accordingly.
To act as an ambassador for Exeter Live Better when attending external events as part of the wider service.
