Lifestyle Property People is a leading Property Investment company that helps London investors build portfolios in the buoyant Yorkshire Property market. Due to our continued business growth, we are currently recruiting for a REFURB PROJECT MANAGER to join the Sheffield based delivery team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the initial viewing, refurbishment and successful delivery of our properties, along with the associated admin tasks.
Duties:
Your duties will include:
- Building relationships with local contractors
- Working with our Deal Negotiators to source suitable properties for our investors
- View potential properties and analyse the scope and cost of refurbishing them
- Collection and delivery of keys and other such items in Sheffield
- Creation of a Schedule of Works for each property we purchase on behalf of a client
- Managing build teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Managing a schedule of income and expenditure for each project
- Carrying out of quality assurance and creation of a snagging list for the build team
- Some basic DIY such as replacing lightbulbs or smoke alarm batteries
- Updating relevant records in Asana, documents, checklists and spreadsheets
Skills & Qualifications:
- You must hold a valid UK driving licence (copy to be provided at interview)
- Ability to build & nurture relationships
- Experience in managing small scale refurbishment projects
- Good organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Property industry experience is desirable but not essential
Job Location:
The position will be home-based, ideally within the Sheffield city area
Length of Contract:
- Contract Worker, based on hours worked.
Requirements:
· Use of own mobile phone & own laptop
· Must be able to drive with a clean driving licence
· Access to a car
Part-time hours: 15 to 25 hours per week
Remuneration: £15 to £20 per hour, depending on experience.
