Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic sales advisor to work in Slate Shoes, our leading independent shoe store in Broadway, Worcestershire.
As part of the Slate Clothing group, Slate Shoes is a destination footwear store selling women's shoes. As a successful family business, we love creating a work environment where all employees feel valued and part of a close knit, friendly team where customers are given the best experience possible.
We are looking for a dynamic new team member to work 3 or 4 days per week. The role is suited to someone able and willing to work in the store alone (following all necessary training). The successful applicant will ideally have experience and confidence in selling shoes, be self motivated, and relish the opportunity to maintain the strong relationships we have with our existing customers as well as the many visitors to Broadway. Regular rotational weekend work required.
You will have a strong work ethic, professional manner, great communication skills and a love of working in a close team (our clothing store in Broadway runs in tandem with Slate Shoes, with the stores being just a 2 minute walk from each other). You will also be customer focused, proactive and energetic, have a willingness to learn and be passionate about our beautiful shoes- and to share this with our customers!
