Join us as a Private Financing Sales Analyst
- We’ll look to you to focus on the origination, structuring and delivery of financing and solutions transactions within our Private Financing business
- Day to day, as an analyst in our UK Sponsors team, you'll support senior sales people to effectively cover our clients and deliver a One Bank service
- Help us to deliver on our bank’s purpose and strategy in Private Financing as you create a valuable and far-reaching impact through your work
What you'll do
In your new role, you'll be liaising with our structuring and trading teams to facilitate deals across our client base and be the face of the bank to large global sponsors. You’ll be assisting with the implementation of strategies across multiple dimensions, including portfolio and balance sheet optimisation across all legacy and newly-originated assets, liquidity management and funding, structuring and placement.
You'll support our focus to originate private lending and bilateral financing transactions via deployment of NatWest Markets (NWM) balance sheet, as well as to distribute and syndicate risk into our NWM client base through strong partnerships.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Private Financing product teams to deliver a tailored offering for clients across Funding, Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Repo and Risk Transformation, and Specialty Lending and Advisory activities
- Supporting with the go forward strategic and purpose-led overage model
- Meeting financial objectives, revenue and costs as defined in your performance objectives
- Targeting a sustainable and robust business profit and loss stream and risk profiles
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this entrepreneurial team, we're looking for a self-starter and a candidate that wants to hit the ground running. You’ll need a background in financial markets with the ability to create and maintain relationships with other product and coverage teams across the bank to make sure we're effectively cross-selling across the NatWest FI franchise.
Furthermore, you’ll need:
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to engage daily with internal stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and ease with booking calls and meetings, processing NDAs, onboarding and KYC processes
- Excellent MS Office skills to onboard new clients, track customer appetite, manage spreadsheets and pipelines
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Great analytical skills
- Knowledge of the financial institutions, sponsors and funds market in Europe
