Purpose of Role:
A Customer Sales Advisor is a key role in delivering a high standard of customer service by understanding customers’ needs, providing solutions and supporting the company’s internal sales activities. This role requires an individual who is experienced and thrives in a busy office working environment with the ability to maintain a professional approach to their work. Thoroughness and attention to detail are essential with a skill to remain positive and enthusiastic in support of the Company’s mission and values.
Key Duties:
· First point of contact, answering calls, screening enquiries and forwarding as necessary
· Handle high volume inbound calls from customers in a polite, helpful and knowledgeable way
· Manage and process customer orders and enquiries
· Follow up enquiries
· Understand and identify sales opportunities and liaise with external sales team accordingly
· Liaise with customers of order progress
· Manage customer concerns and respond in a timely manner
· Process new login enquiries
· Identify part numbers from exploded views
· Liaise with Technical for advice when applicable
· Manage emails, fax & web based enquiries
· Ensure workplace health & safety requirements are met
· General admin duties
· Implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001
Key Skills:
· Data accuracy and attention to detail
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Positive telephone manner
· Fully IT Literate with excellent keyboard skills
· Excellent listening skills
· Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment
· Handle complaints in a calm, professional and helpful manner
· Ability to multitask & problem solve
· Effective team player and the ability to work on own initiative
· Organised and the ability to prioritise workload
· Effective communication with other departments
· Flexibility in line with the needs of the business
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00 per year
