Job Title: Engineering Controller
Reports to : Operations Director
Location: Ornua Foods UK Ltd, Sunnyhills Road, Leek, ST13 5SP
Hours: Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 17:00, 36.25 hours per week, Flexibility is required to meet with the demands of the business
Salary: £85,000 to £90,000 per annum plus bonus (dependant on experience)

Ornua is actively seeking an engineering controller to lead our 40 strong engineering team as we continue our growth trajectory. The engineering controller will play a key role in developing engineering best practice and leading a team through maintenance transformation.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The Engineering controller is responsible for all aspects of site maintenance and asset care. Working with a team of site engineers, Stores personnel, Project engineers, Planners, and contractors, you would play a key role in developing and delivering the site strategy for world class maintenance across our 20+ production lines. This role is part of the overall site Controller team that delivers the day to day running of the operations function as well as developing the longer-term operations growth and strategy. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a senior leadership team and make decisions based on a wider business perspective.
What You Bring To The Role:
Strong people leader with a track record of developing Engineering skills within a team.
Good knowledge of all aspects of asset care and maintenance best practice.
Experience working as part of a wider leadership team.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques.
Experience working in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
