Carlingo is a brand-new used car retail proposition with a roadside showroom based on the A661 entrance into Harrogate.
Selling hand-picked, quality used cars with great specification and superb provenance, we strive to deliver outstanding, honest and reliable customer service. As we are soon to be open, we are hiring talented, ambitious and passionate people to join us and drive our success in our new business venture.
We will have around 200 cars in stock priced from £10,000 to £50,000, with our experienced in-house buying team sourcing only the best cars from all around the country. There will be over 30 brands for customers to choose from and be warmly welcomed into our newly refurbished indoor showroom. There is a new state of the art preparation centre behind the main showroom which will prepare all the cars ready for display. This includes 5 ramps, an MOT bay, SMART and paint repair, tyre changer and wheel balancer, and a valet bay area.

What we're looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and meticulous Sales Advisor for our brand new used car showroom. The right candidate must have great attention to detail, be reliable and have some sales experience. It does not necessarily have to be in the automotive industry.
This is a new exciting start up with large future expansion plans across the North of England.
What you’ll be doing...
- You will be Liaising with customer on display and talking them through the car and the features it has. Trying to find out what the customer is looking for.
- Taking them on a test drive of the vehicle.
- Offering them the different products we have, including finance, Extended Warranty, Paint Protection.
- Finishing all the necessary paperwork that will complete the deal.
- Handing the vehicle over to the customer.
Essential Skills:
- Passionate about delivering high quality customer service
- A good level of experience in a sales environment. Sales in the Automotive industry is not essential.
- Able to work unsupervised in a busy environment.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Able to build positive working relationships with other.
- Strong ability to multi-task, think on your feet, problem solve and when necessary ‘roll your sleeves up and get involved’ with an appetite to grow and develop.
- Good time keeping skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Benefits:
- Salary, Basic - £22k. OTE 50K
- Hours: 08:30am - 6pm - 5 days per week. This includes weekends.
