We are seeking a Sales Advisor to join our Small and Medium Business (SMB) team at BT. SMB is a crucial sales channel for BT, focusing on small and medium business customers. As a Sales Advisor, your role will involve developing and expanding business with a portfolio of SMB customers. Your primary goal will be to provide excellent solutions that help UK small businesses thrive in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a defined account base of small SMB customers with single sites and simple order needs.
- Sell BT & EE's standard products in mobile, connectivity, and IP voice.
- Build successful and profitable relationships within the assigned account base.
- Utilize BT sales methodology to retain, develop, and grow business, including effective questioning to understand customer needs.
- Thrive in a target-driven, customer-facing environment, meeting targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as customer contact activity, pipeline health, and revenue growth.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen, influence, guide, and convey messages effectively.
- Proficiency in using IT systems, databases, and software packages, including experience with data management, emails, and UC tools like Teams.
- Customer service skills, understanding how to approach and address customer wants and needs, setting expectations, and providing solutions.
- Track record of achieving or exceeding targets, with a strong motivation to meet outcomes and effectively manage workload.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn, following guidance, constructive feedback, and established processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Sales experience is advantageous but not essential. We value willingness to learn, drive, and ambition.
- Experience in a contact center environment or evidence of working in a fast-paced, busy setting.
