Job description
A full-time Sales Administrator (maternity cover) is needed to join the team at this global hair extensions distributor company based in London. They celebrated 30 years of serving the hair industry in 2019 and have collaborated with one of the largest manufacturers in the world!
Experience and passion about hair and styling would be desirable. Foreign languages (particularly German) would also be highly beneficial, and this role could also turn into a permanent position.
They are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, as this position will provide support to the sales team by effectively and accurately performing administrative tasks.
You will be expected to work as a team member to assist all departments to function efficiently and maximise profit.

Established in 1989, they began as a hair and cosmetics company, and in 1993 extended into the hair extensions market. In 2000, they opened their office in Paris and in 2004 entered into a joint venture with the largest manufacturers of hair products in the world.
About the Role
Please note this is a full time position. Monday - Friday, 9am until 5.30pm and initially is a 12 month maternity cover contract. Please only apply if you are able to commit to a full time position.
There is also an opening for a part-time position, around 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and complete sales orders for external account managers through Web server and company's system of Exchequer
Customer service - including incoming telephone enquiries to the company and monitoring a customer database to highlight new product information
General administration duties including supporting the reception information system, sending and receiving faxes, general filing, general housekeeping of their showroom
Generate statistics and analysis of company sales activities and Account Managers activity as per Manager's request
Update and maintain customer database ensuring all reports generated from it are correct and current
Monitor aged debtors list ensuring the Account Managers receive it monthly. Work with account managers to ensure it is operating at optimum level.
Providing general information relating to the sales department or contacting relevant staff members as appropriate
Reporting new trends, competitor / hair industry research and any problems in the market
Opening new account forms with the relevant information
