M&M Seafood is an organisation established for 25 years, specialising in processing, distributing and importing seafood from all over the world. In order to maintain our growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic sales administrator to join our team and help the organisation achieve its goals.
Main Responsibilities
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Contacting new customers by calling and emailing, following relevant steps when acquiring sales.
- Developing customer relations by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Proactively manage customer retention.
- Communicate important feedback from customer internally.
- Liaising with the procurement team to ensure stock availability.
- Advising customers about delivery schedules and providing a great after-sales service.
- Liaising with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure customers are aware of the full range of products and service offered.
- Produce sales/activity reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.
- Stay up-to date with new products and features.
- Maintain and develop knowledge of product range offering value to the customer.
The Ideal Candidate
- Must possess a good standard of education, demonstrate good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.
- Must be able to follow customer orders from, receipt of order to dispatch, and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Respectful and courteous demeanour.
- Confident in being able to negotiate effectively.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft programmes.
- Positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Adaptable to different situations and clients
- Fast learner
- Sales experience is preferred, but not essential
- Knowledge of the seafood industry would be desirable, but not essential
- Ability to speak multiple languages is advantageous.
Hours of Work
Full time and part time work available, expected to work 5 days a week.
Rate of Pay
Depends on experience and to be discussed during interview stage.
