We’re looking for a smart and systems savvy Sales Administrator to join our Mission Control team. The Mission Control team is at the heart of our business operation and is responsible for getting all our deals processed and live on the itison site. You’ll love data processing, fact checking and building relationships with the thousands of businesses we work with.
This role is based full time from our Glasgow HQ.
What you’ll be doing
Working within our Mission Control (Commercial Operations) team, you'll play a key role in the core day-to-day function of itison.com. From processing and checking deals, to setting up emails that are sent to over 1.7 million itison members across Scotland and the North of England every day.
We are looking for a smart, hard-working and personable individual with strong communication, organisation & troubleshooting skills and keen attention to detail.
Key tasks within the role will include data processing, fact-checking booking forms, copywriting & image selection for deals, events & social media and liaising with the businesses we work with to make sure everything looks tip-top before it goes live on our site! Full training will be provided on team tasks and on our company systems.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working as part of a team to meet tight deadlines, as well as being comfortable working independently.
This role will be based in our Glasgow HQ and would suit an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge.
What’s the role
- Processing our deal & event features, including data processing, fact-checking, copywriting, image selecting & correcting
- Building, copywriting, & checking our daily round-up, and editorial emails before they are sent out to all our itison members
- Setting up and maintaining our in-house booking system, Reservations Manager
- Selecting and copywriting core-feature social media posts
- Liaising with the businesses we work with, both on the phone and over email
- Supporting other departments with tasks such as data input and cleansing, producing and running reports, answering phone calls, and troubleshooting problems
- Other ad-hoc tasks as needed to support across the company

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and good at problem-solving
- Confident with computers and strong experience of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- An ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, with good timekeeping and attendance
