An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administration Assistant to join our growing friendly team, at Niftylift. The role is based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes.

The Sales Administration Assistant will be responsible for processing sales from order placement through to shipment of the completed equipment.


Main Tasks of the Role:

  • Liaising with production departments to select appropriate build specifications and build times;
  • Answering queries/questions from customers relating to existing orders via email and telephone;
  • Keeping the sales team up to date with delivery times and order progress where required;
  • Requesting pre payments and communicating with the accounts team regarding receipt;
  • Working with the quality and production teams to ensure they are provided sufficient time to have the equipment ready;
  • Arranging of shipments and booking deliveries/collections in the most economical and practical way whilst maintaining and managing the despatch needs of the company;
  • Booking deliveries/collections with customers, freight forwarders and transport companies via email and telephone;
  • Issuing of correct shipping paperwork as requested by the destination, customer and/or shipping agent;
  • Other general office administration work as required by the department.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous admin experience in a busy office environment including liaison with customers at all levels from engineering to managing directors by telephone and email;
  • Knowledge of export sales and shipping procedures/documentation required;
  • High level of computer proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Foreign language skills desirable.

Working Hours and Salary:

  • Working hours for the role are 5 hours per day (part-time), please detail your preferred working hours as part of your application.
  • Salary for the role will be £28,000 per annum (pro-rata'd based on a 40 hour working week depending on working hours)
