Job description
You will be a key a part of a recently established direct sales team where you will be able to make a real difference to the growth of our business.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- Responsible for cultivating, influencing and securing sales with SME customers directly through a combination of self-generated leads, warmed up data and opportunities;
- Activity goals are achieved that are required to drive overall sales performance;
- Detailed understanding of the tariff options available;
- Identify customer requirements and demonstrate strong account management skills to drive good customer experience and closure;
- Manage sales pipelines effectively to ensure targets are achieved and lead generation is “topped up” as required;
- Liase with colleagues/internal teams to develop comprehensive strategies to attain renewal customers;
- Maintain effective communication with sold customers to enhance renewal opportunities and maximise upsell potential;
- Liaise with customers, handling a wide range of complex written and/or verbal enquiries, complaints and requests for advice as and when necessary to support the SEBL brand;
- Identify trends in customer issues, alerting line manager with proposals for improvement;
- Respond to incoming telephone calls, identifying and then meeting customer requirements by providing a polite, professional and accurate response in line with agreed service standards;
- Update and increase knowledge of the company’s procedure and products;
- Attending company briefings;
What skills/experience do I need to be considered?
- At least 2 years of experience in b2b sales to direct customers;
- Good knowledge of sales principles and practices;
- Good knowledge of customer objection handling and overcoming common objections;
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, good attention to detail, and ability to multitask;
- Strong negotiation skills.
