- Sat Days- 6am-6pm- £21.64
- Sat Nights -18:00-6:00 am- £24.76
- Sun Days -6am-6pm- £24.94
- Sun Nights -18:00-6:00 am - £28.06
Tues-Sat - Fixed night shifts, starting between 21:00pm and 22:45pm
Tues-Sat -Fixed night shifts, starting between 23:00pm and 00:45am
Minimum of 12 months class 1 driving experience required

The good news is that our continued success and business growth has opened up exciting opportunities for experienced LGV C & E Drivers to join our successful team at our 550,000 sq ft multi temperature distribution centre in Sherburn in Elmet, Sainsbury’s contract.
The Role:
- Reporting to the Transport Team Manager
- Delivering stock to the stores in a professional, economical and safe manner always, whilst following company procedures and maintaining the company image to provide a quality service to the stores.
- Work as trained to ensure that the transport operation achieves the targeted daily and weekly KPIs
- The role involves both class 1 driving and class 2 driving daily
- To undertake general duties which support the transport function efficiently and effectively
- To report incidents or accidents that occur whilst on the road, at store or at depot
- Comply with driver hours legislation and all road traffic regulations.
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- To present vehicles for routine service or in need of defect repair to the maintenance provider.
- Ensure vehicle is sealed before and after delivery.
- Adhere to company procedures in connection with PPE and company uniform
- Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the function and department.
- Elements of manual handling will be involved in this role.
· Working a fixed shift pattern of Tues- Saturday & Sunday-Thursday
· 45 hrs per week
The Person:
- Must have a minimum of 12 months class 1 driving experience
- Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines
- A good communicator both verbal and written
- The right driver would be willing to do both class 1 and class 2 driving daily
- A flexible team-based approach
- Awareness of Transport and Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to act on instruction
The above positions will include shifts, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work, night shifts available.
