Job Details

Salesforce is seeking a Manager, Trust & Safety to work closely with the Trust & Safety team to assist in running campus security, event security and protective detail logistics for the CEO and covered executives. As a member of the Trust & Safety team, the Manager, Trust & Safety will support the Director, Trust & Safety and act as a corporate liaison for the Trust & Safety team for Salesforce campus events and activities with regard to safety, protection and trust.

This position resides in the Trust and Safety organization, and the successful candidate for this role will be available to work on-site at the Salesforce San Francisco campus and respond to emergent situations as needed. Anticipated travel will be less than 10% annually.

Responsibilities

• Managing safety & security logistics for the CEO and covered executives while they are on Salesforce campus (high-rise office environment)
• Coordinating safety & security planning for events attended by the CEO and covered executives
• Drafting and driving security plans for executive events
• Reviewing, organizing and updating security policies and procedures
• Finding opportunities for process improvement and refinement
• Inventory and provisioning of security & safety equipment in support of the protective details’ assignments
• Maintaining liaison with executive staff and Salesforce’s Global Safety & Security and Real Estate teams (among others).
• Conducting protective advance assignments

Key Qualifications

• Strong social skills and ability to interact with top senior executives
• Ability to implement and get things done quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with careful attention to detail
• Ability to work across all functions and levels
• Works well in a team environment, but also independently
• Skills for identifying and addressing needs proactively

Required Experience:

• BA/BS degree with a security focus or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in a security role
• Demonstrated experience implementing, and driving security strategy to include emergency response, access control and risk mitigation.
• Strong understanding of Life Safety systems and Access Control protocols in an office environment
• Experience leading/engaging with multiple collaborators while managing scope effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and our business culture

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $131,300 to $180,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
