Job description
Role Purpose
To provide health and safety advice to the CBUL Reactive & Planned Work teams, and work with the team to ensure company procedures and statutory requirements are in place.
Role Summary
- Provide advice, reports to the company as required
- Undertake workplace inspections and audits, undertake accident / incident investigations as required
- Working with both internal and external clients as required,
- Attend meetings with both internal and external clients as required.
- Occasional out of hours working will be required.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

Technical Specification
Experience Required
- Experience health and safety advisor minimum 2 years’ experience ideally in utilities or construction.
Essential Qualifications
- NEBOSH general certificate, NVQ or similar in Occupational Health & Safety.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience of the Construction Industry
- Experience in utility or civil engineering contracting (preferred)
- Understanding of sewerage network operations
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
- Level 3 AET instructional qualification – (PTTLS)
