We are working exclusively with an award winning, international ingredients manufacturer, in the search for a Safety, Health and Environmental Lead to join their team in Suffolk. This is an exciting role with a company going through significant growth and transformational change. Reporting into the Group QSHE Manager, the Safety, Health and Environmental Lead will be supporting the site to deliver high safety standards and improvements.

The experience you need will be:
· A background in manufacturing, ideally within food
· An established background working in the Health and Safety or Environmental function
· A recognised H&S qualification
· Strong IT capability
· Experience working to ISO standards
Some of the key responsibilities of the Safety, Health and Environmental Lead:
· Assist the Group QSHE Manager to provide leadership and expertise on Health and Safety matters and to maintain an effective system of Environmental, Health and Safety documents
· Develop, assist, and participate in Health and Safety training, toolbox talks etc particularly legislative and other changes that may impact site and its undertaking
· Assist the Group QSHE Manager with developing and maintaining relevant Health and Safety policies, documentation, working instructions and campaigns to maintain an effective Health and Safety system and culture
· Lead Health and Safety audits and review performance – ensuring that corrective actions arising are dealt with to prevent reoccurrence
· Assist / Lead H&S Culture – development of safety-based intervention program that drives a robust effective Health and Safety Culture
They are offering the successful candidate £40,000 - £45,000 + company bonus and benefits.
