Introduction
Do you want to work for a leading design, engineering, and project management consultancy?
Our client is looking for a Safety Critical Software Engineer to fill a 6 month inside IR35 contract role. The role is fully remote; however, you may be required to visit the client’s site in either Bristol or Hampshire for meetings.
You will join our clients Safety Critical Software team to develop and verify safety-critical software systems across multiple safety critical industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have worked in a safety or mission critical industry and have knowledge of C, Ada, OR Assembler programming languages.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development of safety critical systems
- Work across the full software engineering lifecycle
- Verify and test software and programmable hardware used in safety-critical digital systems
- Ensure engineering standards and regulatory requirements are met
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are met to time and standard
Skills & experience
- Safety critical software engineer experience
- Static and formal software analysis (MALPAS/SPARK/Polyspace)
- Development and verification of real-time, embedded control systems
- Knowledge of C, Ada, OR Assembler programming languages
