West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Clerical Officer to work within the Safeguarding Unit.
The successful candidate will work as part of a committed and dynamic team of Police Officers and staff who investigate offences against children and serious sexual offences. You will assist the team by providing clerical support to investigations, helping with the preparation of case files for prosecution and contributing to the day to day running of a busy office.
An integral part of the role will be liaising with Social Care and other involved agencies to ensure information is appropriately shared via typed reports, phone calls and face to face multi agency meetings.
You will be expected to research police IT systems in order to gather relevant information and present it clearly. You will also be asked to type up intelligence reports, record crime occurrences and assist in the preparation of reports for Family Court.
The successful candidates will be motivated, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
