Runner – Switch, Southampton
REKOM UK are looking for a member of Floor Support to help with the smooth running of Switch in Southampton
What can you do for us?
To assist the Management Team by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the operation whilst maintaining brand standards and values. To provide excellent guest service and help to increase sales revenue by providing a friendly, informative welcome to all guests.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, a good communicator, well presented, professional, with excellent operational standards and attention to detail, and should lead by example.
What can we do for you?
· Offer an hourly salary of up to £10.50 per hour, depending on experience;
· You will join the largest late-night operator in Denmark, Norway, Finland and the UK;

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
· working as a member of the floor support team in a designated floor area, including a designated toilet area, and providing help and assistance where required;
· collecting unused bottles and glasses;
· ensuring tables are clean at all times with clean menus;
· ensuring bins are emptied as and when necessary ensuring recycling policy is adhered to;
· ensuring bars always have enough stock, making sure more stock is brought to the bar before anything runs out;
· successfully resolving guest complaints wherever possible referring unresolved complaints to your supervisor and to the management team;
· ensuring that your designated toilet area is checked periodically throughout the session and logged as required;
· ensuring cellar areas are left clean and tidy at all times;
· ensuring no floor area is left unattended;
· ensuring that all areas are dry and clear of spillages or broken glass;
· making sure public and staff areas are kept clean;
· maintain floor areas in line with operating standards;
· ensuring good housekeeping standards are applied and deliver a safe environment through maintenance of the venue;
· completing all company Polaris training, including refresher courses, as and when required to do so.
All applicants must be well presented, professional, a good communicator with excellent overall operational standards. Candidates must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK.
This is a part-time permanent role that will see you working shift patterns that include evenings and weekends, so you must be flexible in terms of the hours required of you. This is by no means a 9 to 5 role and all applicants should take this into consideration. Our team love what they do! We have a passion for providing an experience second to none.
