Job description
To coordinate and assist all administrative aspects of the Rugby Operations department. To also act as a service provider for all enquires received in relation to Community Game Regulatory & Competitions department.
The Person
- Experience in an administration support position especially dealing with multiple queries at once
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
- Customer service, enquiry or telecommunications experience desirable
- Experience of managing online data bases including accurate data input and report writing
- Knowledge of Welsh Rugby structure is desirable
The Role
- Provide an essential and key point of initial contact for WRU Member Clubs to provide enquiry service support.
- To assist with the registration of senior players including transfers, registrations and permits
- Assist with WRU Results Service
- Assist in administration of Competition Management Committee Meetings and any other as required
- Assist with queries and provide guidance to member clubs as and when required
- Assist with annual release of Competition Regulations
- Carry out duties to help support the WRU/PS Mission Statement in line with the WRU Group values
- To undertake all administrative tasks, including but not limited to meeting arrangement, preparation and minute taking – across the various areas covered in the rugby operations section.
WRU Requirements
The WRU require that individuals are proficient in IT skills, specifically Microsoft packages. Excellent written and verbal communications are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh and a Valid UK Driver's License is desirable. This role is subject to a basic/enhanced DBS check
