Job description
Previous experience of working with the NHS is desirable, as you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of NHS treatment targets. You will support the RTT Validation & Access Officer validate monthly data submissions, and regularly monitoring data for the department. The successful applicant supervises and supports a small bookings team and help with the clinic management of our electrophysiology service. The appointee will be the departmental expert for EBS related queries, managing the worklists on EBS as well as the advice and guidance service for the department.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus across large amounts of data. The role is varied and busy, spanning across multiple specialities. You will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding workload with changing priorities.
An understanding of the clinical environment and previous experience in administration would be beneficial but not essential. Experience with 18 week RTT targets and Cancer Waiting Times targets will be of benefit to the successful candidate but is not essential as training will be provided. Experience in outpatient or bookings environments will be beneficial in this role.
