Job description

As an RPA Developer you’ll be helping to shape the future of automation at Leonardo Hotels. Having been at the cutting edge of the implementation of RPA technology into Hospitality over the last few years, we are excited to take the next step by creating an in house function that will play a key role in forming the RPA strategy for years to come. The main focus of this newly-created role will be to identify and create new processes. Working alongside the Head of Customer Contact and Data Integration and key third party stakeholders, you’ll also form a clear automation landscape that optimises stakeholders’ expertise. Whilst you should come into the position with knowledge of RPA technologies, we’ve got you covered with development and coaching if you’ve only got the basics mastered.
This role offers hybrid working, with at least one day per week in your nearest hotel or office location. We are flexible on base location and this can be discussed at interview.
Key responsibilities of the RPA Developer include:
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert on everything related to RPA development and technologies
- Building the enterprise automation ecosystem in line with IT governance
- Developing objects and common libraries whilst ensuring they are easily maintainable, easy to understand and reusable
- Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios prior to launching User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Creating regular Management Information to be used for both Executive and departmental updates, and satisfy auditory requirements
If you’re our ideal RPA Developer, you will:
- Have ambition to develop new skills with the ability to expand the role into a critical function of the business
- Be passionate about the benefits of automation: it makes all the difference, so let’s get all levels of the business on board
- Be creative and bring new ideas to the table
- Understand that everyone’s knowledge of automation is different! You’ll need to be able to present your ideas to non-technical audiences at times
- Have experience using an RPA tool and/or Microsoft Power Automate, and experience in AI/Machine Learning/Cognitive automation (desirable)
- Hold an understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (desirable)
