We have a new requirement for 2 x ROV Maintenance Technician (Junior) within our Aberdeenoffice. Details are as follows:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Staff, Full Time
Salary/rate: Please provide individual rate expectation
Ref: 1874/2023 + 1875/2023
Please note: Successful candidates need to be made aware that they will be required to undertake training in the workshop for approx. 1 year. After this the role will potentially lead to offshore role, which will be ongoing.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- To assist workshop technicians in activities related to the maintenance and refurbishment ROV systems and Subsea equipment.
- To assist, along with other workshop technicians, in maintaining a clean/tidy workshop.
- To develop mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge on Sonsub ROV Systems.
- To develop experience and knowledge in the workshop equipment.
- To assist with conducting maintenance activities on ROV equipment on offshore sites.
- To acquire knowledge of ROV Offshore operations and procedures.
- To work as part of a maintenance & ROV team and assist others.
- Adhere to the Company’s QHSE Policy and Procedures in everyday activities.
You should have the following experience:
Education and Qualifications
Preferred
· Industry training in Engineering, Mechanical, or Hydraulic disciplines.
Technical Competencies and Skills
Preferred
· Practical Mechanical or Electrical background.
· Clean driving license.
· Experience with Microsoft software packages.
