We are looking for experienced Radiographers to join us at Imperial College NHS Trust at one of our 3 sites on a rotational basis, based ateitherHammersmith, Charing CrossorSt Mary’s Hospitals!
Your rotation at your chosen site will include General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiography, CT and PACS. Each site will allow you to train in all modalities including film, CT, IR and MRI.
St Marys Hospital– St Mary’s Hospital is a large, acute hospital and hosts one of the four major trauma centres in London, alongside a 24-hour A&E department. This site hosts its own dedicated Acute Imaging Centre.
Hammersmith Hospital– Hammersmith Hospital is a hospital specialising in cardiothoracic and renal imaging with strong ties to research. It is home to a dedicated heart attack centre and is Europe’s largest renal transplant centre..
Charing Cross Hospital– Charing Cross Hospital provides a range of acute specialist services and a 24/7 accident and emergency department. The site also hosts the hyper acute stroke unit for the region, with the leading national cerebral thrombectomy service. The MRI department participate in clinical research projects, as part of the first Academic Health Science Centre in the country.
Each one of our sites will give you exposure to leading innovations within imaging and developments within radiology. From our Major Trauma Centre at St Marys, clinical research trials at Charing Cross to our specialist departments at Hammersmith Hospital, no matter your interest within Radiology, there will be something for you!
- To assist in the provision of an efficient 24 hour Imaging
- To work as part of a professional radiographic team providing a high quality diagnostic and therapeutic
- To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients.
- To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development.
- To maintain a safe working environment within the department
- BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
- Up to date knowledge and Radiography experience
- NHS experience is highly desired
