The impact you’ll make
First impressions are everything. And you’ll set the tone for every guest’s stay. When a guest walks into our Hotel – imagine that first look around they take, followed by that sigh of relief because they’ve arrived to their home away from home, be it for a night or a week, and it’s perfect. Everything is just the way it should be with friendly faces to help serve them.
What you’ll do
You will work alongside a team of Housekeepers, Rooms colleagues working and understand every detail of a guests stay with regards to the rooms they are staying in.
respond to and attend to guest requests
Operate the hotel telephone system
Check in and out rooms
Report any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed to the Engineering Manager or Housekeeping
Work alongside a mentor within the department, to learn a variety of skills
As well as on the job training, your Level 2 certificate will be completed through a London certified College over a 24 month period and includes time spent at the beginning of the programme completing your enrolment & initial functional skills assessments, as well as an End point assessment to complete your training and gain your qualification. A qualified Assessor will visit you in the workplace every few weeks.
