Job Description for Room Manager
Reports to: Nursery Manager
Main Responsibilities:
_To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged
from 3 months to 5 years._
To help ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
To develop effective partnerships with parents and to increase their involvement in their child’s development.
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager
Key Responsibilities
Keeping children safe and promoting their well being.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Planning and delivering educational and fun activities based on children's interest and next steps in their development.
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
To deliver an appropriate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
To understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification.

This position is full time and salary is dependent on experience and suitability of the successful candidate.
