Robotics Commissioning Engineer
Opportunity exists for a key member of our robotics team to commission mechatronic systems and controls interfaces on exciting new projects within UK and Internationally.
Training provided – engineering graduates preferred but open to anyone with a keen interest – junior, graduate or senior role tailored to your experience and skills.
UK and Overseas travel to Client Site
Key tasks include:
- On Site Instrumentation Setup and Commissioning o Supporting Mechanical and Electrical Installation o Testing Communications with connected systems o Fault-finding and detailed reports of issues o Liaising with operations o Developing and implementing bespoke operator training o Coordinating upgrades and repairs
- Robot Software Commissioning o Under supervision of experienced robot programmer o Specialist training provided
- Assisting with Design and Integration Phases in a Team Environment o Opportunities to advance within Electromechanical Design or Project Management
Key Criteria:
- Critical and analytical thinker
- Qualifications and experience assessed as appropriate
- Technical and IT confident, with strong mathematical mind
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Confidence with Office suite, strength in Excel is essential
- Strong Communicator
- Time management, organisational mindset and prioritisation skills
- Full UK Driving License
Desirable Criteria:
- STEM graduate – ideally mechatronic engineer
- Familiarity with coding and controls – Structured Text or PLC
- Experience in a mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering environment
The post is for a full-time candidate with a flexible approach to work and willingness to build strong relationships with the wider team. Travel expenses are paid by the company.
